Costco is a wholesale cash and carry membership warehouse club. Membership is required.
Costco Wholesale Australia offers two types of membership:

Business Membership

Business Membership ($55 annually) is available to all licensed businesses, nonprofit organisations, government agencies, farmers and ranchers. Business identification (ABN certificate/registration of business or three pieces of business ID) is required when applying for Business Membership.

Gold Star Membership

Gold Star Membership ($60 annually) is available for individuals who do not qualify for a Business Membership. One piece of identity must be presented (Drivers licence, proof of age or valid passport).

Terms & Conditions

• Membership is available to qualifying individuals of 18 years and over.
• Cards are not transferable. The membership card can only be used by the individual to whom the card has been issued.
• The member's photograph is required to validate the card. Photos are taken at the warehouse.
• Costco reserves the right to refuse membership to any applicant. Membership is revocable by Costco without cause.
• The membership card is the property of Costco and must be returned upon request.
• Your membership card must be shown on entering the warehouse, and at the cash registers.
• Membership is subject to any and all rules adopted by Costco, and these rules may be amended from time to time without notice
• Membership fee is for one twelve (12) month period from the date of enrollment of the primary cardholder
• An additional card is available to a primary spouse, domestic partner, or immediate family member over age of 18 and living at the same address. Additional cardholders will be asked to present proof that they live at the same address as the primary cardholder.
• Members may bring guests into the warehouse, though only Costco members may purchase items.

Membership Renewal

• The primary member must authorise renewal changes, including additions or deletions
• Renewal fee may be paid at any Costco warehouse. The additional cards expire at the same time as the primary card.
• Payment must be made for all cardholders when renewal is processed.
• You will receive a renewal notice by mail each year. Renewal fees are due no later than the last day of the month your membership expires.

Lost/Stolen Cards

• Lost or stolen cards should be reported as soon as possible to the membership desk.

Refunds

Membership: We will refund your membership fee in full at any time if you are dissatisfied.

Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price.
