Description

Wynns is the Coonawarra's most recognised wine producer. With substantial vineyard holdings on the famous thin strip of terra rossa soil, the wines are benchmarks for the region and lauded for both their quality and flavour.

The first Wynns blend (then named Cabernet Hermitage) was produced in 1969, allowing Wynns a long history with this traditional Australian-style blend. The “red-stripe” blend of three red varieties creates a versatile wine suited to many occasions. Soft fruit and judicious oak create a wine that is perfect for current drinking or medium-term cellaring. The Wynns Cabernet Shiraz Merlot is a well-balanced and approachable wine, providing a true reflection of its regionality.
