1 Testing conducted by Apple in February 2022 using preproduction Mac Studio systems with Apple M1 Ultra, 20-core CPU and 128GB of RAM, and preproduction Mac Studio systems with Apple M1 Max, 10-core CPU and 64GB of RAM, each configured with 8TB SSD; as well as production 3.2GHz 16-core Intel Xeon W–based Mac Pro systems with 192GB of RAM and 4TB SSD, and production 3.6GHz 10-core Intel Core i9–based 27-inch iMac systems with 128GB of RAM and 8TB SSD. Tested with prerelease Houdini FX 19.0.524 using a narrow band FLIP simulation scene. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of Mac Studio, Mac Pro and iMac.
2 Testing conducted by Apple in February 2022 using preproduction Mac Studio systems with Apple M1 Ultra, 20-core CPU, 64-core GPU and 128GB of RAM, and preproduction Mac Studio systems with Apple M1 Max, 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU and 64GB of RAM, each configured with 8TB SSD; as well as production 3.2GHz 16-core Intel Xeon W–based Mac Pro systems with 192GB of RAM, AMD Radeon Pro W5700X graphics with 16GB of GDDR6, configured with Afterburner and 4TB SSD, and production 3.6GHz 10-core Intel Core i9–based 27-inch iMac systems with Radeon Pro 5700 XT graphics with 16GB of GDDR6, 128GB of RAM and 8TB SSD. Tested with Affinity Photo 1.10.4 using the built-in benchmark version 11021. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of Mac Studio, Mac Pro and iMac.
