Description
The Pyrus nivalis Snow Pear is an upright and erect tree with a rounded canopy. Grey tinged rounded leaves mature to a silver-green, with yellow autumn foliage, and masses of small white flowers in spring that appear to "snow" in the slightest breeze.
Field grown to produce a hardy and strong tree. Harvested in winter when dormant then placed in a bag. The early growth stages in the ground produces a more resilient and robust tree that lives longer than other trees grown entirely in pots.
